Ambigrams!..

This word would be common to people who have read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons.
Ambigrams generally fall into several categories
  • Rotational
  • Mirror
  • Figure ground
  • Chain
  • Space Filling
  • 3-dimensional
  • Perceptual Shift
  • Natural

The Ambigrams that intrigue me the most are the Rotational ones

A design that presents several instances of words when rotated through a fixed angle. This is usually 180 degrees, but rotational ambigrams of other angles exist, for example 90 or 45 degrees. The word spelled out from the alternative direction(s) is often the same, but may be a different word to the initially presented form. A simple example is the lower-case abbreviation for "Down", dn, which looks like the lower-case word up when rotated 180 degrees

The HP Trio will return for the last 2 movies

In a press release,
Warner Brothers announced that Emma Watson will return for the final two Harry Potter films, along with Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.

It would be inconceivable to imagine anyone else in the roles with which they have become so identified, so we are thrilled and proud that Daniel, Rupert and Emma have chosen to complete the arc of their characters in the final two films.

Google Logos - logoogle!

One of the most amazing organizations of our time. Every day like over 64 million people use Google, running billions of searches on everything and anything. It does not end there; Google's Gmail facility for emailing, Orkut - a people community site, even this blogger and a lot many products have become so popular that some people tend to think Internet = Google.
One of the most striking features of Google is it being user friendly. The Homepage Google.com doesnt carry any Ads a plain white background and not more than few words on that page. A innovative and creative approach.
If you frequently use the search engine Google, you will undoubtedly have seen on of the many alternative Google logos created for special holidays and famous birthdays. I found this very kool!..fun!..a nice graphic appeal to a plain simple page. As a result Google and Google fans as well as folks who do not favor Google too much reflect their attitude and message within re-creations of Google logos in many ways. like creating fake Google logos..i enjoy collecting them. A new hobby of mine!
